Interpretations

Interpretations, the journal of ETAWA, is published periodically. It is included in ETA membership or by subscription for $11/issue including postage within Australia. Annual subscriptions to Interpretations are $22 p/a posted within Australia. When the last issue of your subscription is posted, you will be informed that your subscription has ended and you will be asked if you wish to extend your subscription.

Notes For Contributors

1. Length of papers: 3000 - 6000 words.
2. Contributors are asked to submit two hard copies of their paper. If the paper is acceptable for publication a copy on disk in IBM PC format using Word will be required .
3. Papers submitted for publication will be forwarded to members of the Editorial Board and the author will be notified whether the paper has been accepted for publication.
4. A brief note (two or three sentences) about the author should accompany the paper and should include:
   1. the author's position or institutional affiliation;
   2. information about research interests, teaching experience, and field of expertise, current studies, etc. and
   3. a full address for correspondence and contact fax and phone numbers and email address.
5. Please type in your heading print levels before each heading or state a default level (font, size, bold, etc.) after your first heading.
6. Contributors should keep in mind that their audience is English teachers in secondary schools, secondarily teacher educators, and education students.
7. Copyright for all papers published in Interpretations remains with the author. Contributors are requested to grant the Association the option of posting their paper on the Association's internet site after the publication of the issue of Interpretations following the one in which their article is published. Links to contributor's home pages can be included if desired.
