Your association has relocated to the administration block of City Beach Senior High School. Yes, we have the whole block to ourselves.

Our space at The West Australian production building had been compromised by their large building programme and eventually it became necessary for us to be given notice to move out. Rather than the contractual four weeks notice we were given ten weeks to find a new home which was considerate.

At the same time ETA employed Karren Philp as a Professional Development Officer so we needed to reconsider our space anyway.

Thanks to a generous offer from the Department of Education and Training, ETA has tenure of the administration block of City Beach SHS and access to the staff room for meetings and the library area for larger seminars.

The length of the tenure is uncertain because the future use of the site is uncertain but we expect a minimum of 18 months. ETA will have three months notice to relocate if necessary. In the meantime we can enjoy the space and the view.

It is also advantageous to the Department to have people on the site to make it look lived in and therefore not such a target for casual vandalism-at least during the day.

We are thinking of ways to expand ETA's services to take advantage of the new location. If you have any ideas we will be pleased to hear them.

Please change the phone numbers in your book, phones, PDAs, and department fridge door.
