ETAWA believes that the changes proposed in the recently released jury report seem to be quite positive. However, management of these changes must be carefully timed and measured and must be the result of a transparent consultative process.

Over 800 spammers recently overwhelmed the membership of 80 or so ETA Discussion Board members. The time required to monitor and delete the illegal 'users', and to guard against a similar invasion is excessive for a service that is not used by members. Therefore, we have instructed our Web page designers to remove it.

There will be a Course of Study final paper for this year. It will be sent out in the first weeks of term four. Orders need to be with ETA by the end of this term. Fax orders to 9385-7159. Principals of schools ordering the paper will need to sign a security guarantee. That guarantee will be faxed to schools soon for return before the papers are delivered.
