Warren Grellier from ACARA’s English Advisory Group and Clare Macfarlane, from Perth College, where elements of the English National Curriculum are being trialled, will be our presenters.
The timeline for feedback is very short. This is your chance to discuss the structure and content of the English National Curriculum.

A Pod of Poets
A Pod of Poets is a series of eleven, 40-minute podcasts of Australian poetry, read by the authors. The poets come from all over Australia; some are emerging talents and some are established; several of them are on the school syllabus.
The audio is available to download and you'll also find transcripts, photographs, interviews, and more. We hope that this website will be an ongoing resource for researchers, schools, universities and the general podcast audience.

Resources for teaching grammar
The explicit teaching of grammar is being given renewed attention in the draft National Curriculum English documents and the directions outlined by the DET in recent weeks. Some teachers have requested advice about resources they can use, so the document at the link below provides a list of resources that may be useful. As new resources are recommended we will add them to this list.
