Australian Curriuculum
On 12 May ETAWA held a discussion forum on the ACARA Draft K - 10 English Curriculum. The discussion was robust and productive and provided us with valuable contributions which we synthesised to produce the official ETAWA response. You will be able to read the response in the Term Two edition of ETANotes, and if you click on the link below. This response has been sent to the AATE President, Guy Bayly Jones, who in turn has produced the official AATE response, available on the AATE website.

National Curriculum Update
The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (formerly the National Curriculum Board) has released a Position Paper proposing guidelines for national curriculum development in senior years of schooling. They are inviting feedback and to this end, ETAWA encourages members to have input into this important phase of the consultation process.
Please email ETAWA at the following address with your comments on the Position Paper, so we can compile an official response in our capacity as a subject association.
